Hyundai’s best-selling SUV raises the bar among competition higher with its new unique design and extraordinary performance. The third generation of Santa Fe comes to 2015 market improved with modern look, more comfort and technology. This time Hyundai is offering the whole package, lots of features and prestigious luxury cabin at a quite affordable price.
Exterior of the car has gone through some significant changes such as new pallet of colors, ”Storm Edge” profile design, more dynamic character lines, chrome accents on the grille and door handles, tinted rear windows, LED headlamps, etc. Depending on a trim level Santa Fe comes with different sizes of stylish alloy wheels (17”-active, 18”-elite, 19”-highlander). Depending on the trim levels 2015 Santa Fe will be powered with several different units. Choices of engines that are available include: 2.4 liter I4 that will be offered in base version that produces 190 hp, 2.0 liter turbo I4 unit that produces 264 horsepower and 3.3 liter V6 unit with direct injection technology and possibility to deliver 290 horsepower. All these engines are paired with six speed automatic transmission with option of six-speed manual (on active variant).
Hyundai is getting more serious, especially on the U.S. market. To make a bigger splash here they will need to offer even more and this will be done with introduction of a hybrid model. There are no details about the hybrid powertrain that will be offered in the new 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe but we are sure that it will combine conventional unit with an electric motor. Fuel economy and price of this car is still not announced but it will be slightly more expensive than it is the case with standard version.

In terms of safety Santa Fe has large number of active and passive safety technologies: ABS, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Electronic Stability Control, Traction control systems, 7 airbags including side and driver knees airbag and others… One of the new options offered is the blind-spot observation system. Combining all these features and new technology will certainly improve the safety and in case of a crash it will protect passengers much better than before.

The 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe is a SUV crossover that is expected to be released in August 2014 first in few selected showrooms. By the January 2015 all markets should be covered. Price is predicted in range between $25,000 – $35,000 which depends on the trim levels, package and optional equipment that buyer chooses.
